The following information and definitions apply when ordering custom prompts:

1. Definitions for pricing are:
   • One word means one spoken word. Hyphenated words are considered two words. Times such as "9am" are considered one word. Proper nouns, such as "New South Wales", are broken up into separate words (eg 3 in this case).

   • One prompt means one sentence of up to 20 words or part thereof.

   • One word pack means 5 one- or two- word prompts. Each is recorded as a separate prompt file.

   • One paragraph means 5 sentences of 20 words (or part thereof) each, in one reading.

2. Your script should contain a list of desired filenames, and for each filename the exact text which is to be read, and any desired pronunciation (especially for acronyms and names). In your order, please also state the audio format you require (eg mp3, gsm, alaw, etc), if known.

3. You may request a re-recording once at no extra charge, but only if you have clearly specified on your original order the required intonation, pronunciation and emphasis. Words cannot be changed. Essentially, this means that if we make a reading error, we will re-recorded it for free.

4. Please allow 3 to 4 days for recordings to be made and delivered.

5. There is a 100% surcharge if you wish to distribute the recordings (eg for OEMs).

6. Unless requested otherwise, OpenVoice retains the right to use portions of recordings for demonstration purposes.

7. Recordings will be either emailed or made available as a download, unless requested otherwise.

8. There is a minimum charge of $75 per order.

Payment can be made by bank transfer or credit card (via Paypal). This must be completed before the order is processed (unless by prior arrangement).
